"Shot through the plastic lens of the Holga camera, I’ve created the same colorful worlds I used to dream of as a child. Growing up I rarely felt accepted. I often felt like an outsider, never belonging. Even now as an adult I still have moments of not feeling quite right, not sure where home is. That's when I head out to the fields and forests to reconnect and ground myself. It is where I first found that I could create art that represented my dream worlds.

Upon seeing my first images processed from the Holga camera, a new paradigm of freedom in the wild and untamed moments of the natural world was born. The soft dreamy lines, and vibrant saturated colors brought my childhood dreams to life. I felt at home wandering in these images. And to this day I continue seeing and shooting through it’s lens to create magical worlds from the intimate details around us.

I aim to create soft, colorful worlds of pleasure and bliss that you may fall deeply into as you rest your eyes and worries for a moment. Worlds that beckon you deeper into your own exploration of embodied joy and delight. I invite you to open to the beauty beyond your given beliefs…what is possible when you dream?" ~Rebecca
